Preimplantation genetic diagnosis, which is also referred to as embryo screening is being lauded as the most effective method for selecting the gender of your baby. It has almost 100% accuracy and it can be used not only to select the sex of your baby but to also ensure that the child that you would be carrying would be healthy. It lessens the chances that your child would suffer from genetic disorders later on in life. This procedure usually takes place prior to implantation of the embryo and it may even be performed prior to fertilization.
